How I Work
One-To-One

I work with clients’ unique blueprints to co-create a bespoke lifestyle plan. I do not use a one-size-fits-all approach, as science has shown us that everyone is biologically and emotionally unique, meaning that no two people respond the same way. When working with clients, I meet them where they are. Together, we identify your priorities and the pathway to make meaningful changes to your lifestyle and, ultimately, a sense of well-being.

I have spent thousands of hours studying various sciences and modalities, including nutrition, movement, and coaching models. I am not tied to any one practice and am committed to staying up-to-date in the world of longevity, science, and medicine. With a deep knowledge base, my critical skill is taking complex and overwhelming data and making it meaningful and relatable when applying it to everyday life. You are busy people, and needing someone to simplify life is okay.

You will also benefit from the extensive global network of like-minded associates I have created, such as business founders (existing and exited), high-performance nutritionists, scientists, health coaches, medical practitioners, somatic workers, and breathwork facilitators, to name a few.

Keynote Speaking/Panellist

Dee is a captivating and dynamic speaker regarded as a thought leader. An expert in behavioural change, she has authored her first book, “The Long Weight,” pending release in 2024, and is a commissioned writer for international magazines. She shines a light on the pathway for us all to create a new relationship with food focused on enjoyment and self-care versus a battle for self-control.

An avid researcher and traveller, she has recently completed in-person studies of the world’s blue zones to observe the default lifestyles of populations with longer life spans coupled with strong health spans. Her latest talk offers listeners key learnings on adapting the Blue Zones lifestyles simply into everyday life without having to live in one.

Debunking the Myths of Blue Zones & leveraging their authentic secrets to implement practical lifestyle changes to Live Longer Younger.

Longevity has become a popular topic of discussion lately, with the release of the Netflix series “Live to 100”. However, this has also led to confusion and misconceptions, such as the belief that a plant-based diet is the main factor contributing to the longevity of these regions or that you would need to live in one of these isolated “Blue Zone” areas to benefit from their way of life.

Discover from someone who has been there and studied these communities the many secrets to longevity in the Blue Zones that can be adapted into your everyday life to give yourself the best chance for a long, healthy, and happy life.

Rediscovering a joyful & balanced relationship with food driven by self-care, not self-control.

When we eat for our health, the weight just takes care of itself” – Dee Hunter. Who doesn’t love food? With such choice and abundance, it’s one of life’s pleasures. But many of us have anxiety about what and how much we eat, using mechanisms to “manage” the discomfort from excess and restriction to fasting, skipping meals and eliminating certain foods, fearing excess weight and ill health.

Dee puts a whole new lens on our history, and future with food. Why are we wired to resist restriction, and how know power will outeat willpower any day to bring us back to a place where food is a joy to nourish us, not diminish our physical and emotional well-being? You will leave with the tools to return food to its proper place.

The two opposing forces that affect our ability to change our behaviour.

Although changing our behaviour seems simple, most of us fail to make changes stick until a crisis forces our hand.

Our genetic blueprint is wired to resist change. Learn how you can work with your 70,000-year-old human design, which is maladapted to our modern environment, and make lasting changes to your lifestyle for good. You’ll leave with a clear understanding of why your failed attempts fell over, and a 3-step model to make changes stick in the future.

Corporate – Return-to-work numbers are still a significant issue in the major cities of the USA, Canada, the UK, and ANZ. I actively consult with corporates who want guidance on matters affecting performance and engagement from key personnel, including workplace experiences, which are being demanded by the younger workforce who wish to have an “attractive environment” to travel for. Optimising mental fitness and physiological health and encouraging staff back into the physical workplace where preferred are just some of the pain points employers feel.

Workshops/Retreats – I currently run my own one-day workshops and co-create and facilitate segments, that relate to Well-Being, and how to successfully make behavioural changes. Current one day workshop available:

CURRENT ONE DAY WORKSHOP AVAILABLE:

In this one-day workshop, we explore the reasons why change can be challenging, and why most people fail and then blame themselves instead of acknowledging that the model they are using is potentially flawed. We’ll examine what creates all the friction that makes habit change hard including environment, sociometry and how our brains are wired to resist change.

By the end of the workshop, you will feel equipped and empowered to create your own pathway, using a simplified change model, and you will have worked through the potential hurdles that could have got in your way including your own belief set.

These workshops provide an opportunity to build new connections and accountability circles, which will help ensure that you stay anchored to your plan.

“You cannot change behaviours with the same thinking that created them”
